Band Toon: A live-action example, and also an inversion - the eponymous band was originally made exclusively for the show, but the show got popular enough to warrant the Doodlebops performing a few concerts in real life.Animated Adaptation: The show got an animated spinoff, called The Doodlebops Rockin' Road Show. The reason for this was to make them look like real life cartoon characters. Amazing Technicolor Population: The Doodlebops themselves - Rooney is blue, Deedee is pink/purple, and Moe is yellow.Acquired Situational Narcissism: In "Deedee, Superstar", Deedee receives praise from a magazine and becomes beyond narcissistic and boastful, leaving Moe and Rooney to feel left out and assume she may leave the band. The show's episodes can be roughly divided into two halves, the first of which showed the Doodlebops in whatever situation before going to perform at their concert, and the second of which comprised their concert performances, which consisted of a few songs, at least one of which had An Aesop in them. It starred a band known as The Doodlebops, who were all brightly colored and consisted of Moe, the drummer, Deedee, the pianist, and Rooney, the guitarist. A Canadian children's show from 2005, made by Cookie Jar.
